BBC – Police have condemned the “cruel and senseless” shooting of two cats with an air weapon in Moray. The pet cats were targeted in the Findochty area and needed treatment from a vet. An air weapon was also fired on Crown Terrace, Portgordon, but no-one was injured as a result.

The man who died after jumping from a harbour wall in Findochty, Moray, has been named as Stuart MacDonald from Aberdeen.
The incident occurred around 4.40pm on Thursday 30 July and is not being treated as suspicious.
