The weather turned nice for the Tartan Heart Festival at Belladrum and thousands enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in dry conditions.

Police have praised the behaviour and general good-hearted atmosphere at the Tartan Heart Festival, which attracted record crowds at the weekend at Belladrum.
Event commander Chief Inspector Jim Neil praised revellers who attended the two day festival for their good behaviour throughout.

‘Positive’ atmosphere at Belladrum

The Tartan Heart festival at Belladrum got off to a sunny start yesterday with people in good spirits and no reports of trouble.
Police have reported that there have been no instances of disorder and no serious incidents, and appears to be living up to its reputation of being a friendly festival.
