Small earthquake hits the Highlands

BBC – A 2.4-magnitude earthquake has been felt in the Highlands, the British Geological Survey has confirmed. Council’s Rangers call on locals to help wildlife

Highland Council Countryside Rangers are inviting keen naturalists to Abriachan Forest above Loch Ness on Saturday 15 May between 2-4pm, to learn what it makes a garden good for wildlife.
The event promises hands-on family friendly activities including making bird boxes and mini-beast shelters and learning more about how to make gardens wildlife friendly.
