The weather turned nice for the Tartan Heart Festival at Belladrum and thousands enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in dry conditions.

BBC – A performance by singer Edwyn Collins will close this year’s Inverness Book Festival. The Glaswegian suffered two severe brain haemorrhages in 2005. His wife Grace Maxwell, whose new book is called Falling and Laughing: The Restoration of Edwyn Collins, will also appear at the festival.
