Heavy rainfall has caused flooding around Balloch and Culloden and police have closed the following roads:
Murray Road and Murray Terrace, Smithton (unclassified)
Barn Church Road, Culloden (between Cherry Park Junction and the A96 Junction, also unclassified)
A number of other routes in the Culloden, Balloch, Smithton and Nairnside area are affected by significant surface water, in particular.

A fire has ripped through a garage building on Elgin’s Tyock Industrial Estate, destroying vehicles parked outside as it spread.

A service bus has crashed near Boat of Garten.
The coach was travelling between Carrbridge and Aviemore and was carrying three passengers when the accident happened on the A95 at Laggantygown Cemetery. It is believed the coach has overturned.
