Butcher shop celebrates its 160th anniversary

Press and Journal – A Moray butcher shop played host to a royal guest yesterday to mark its 160th anniversary. The Princess Royal was at Royan’s of Elgin to speak to owners Jim and Jean Royan about the company, which is Scotland’s oldest family butchers. She was also shown the commemorative artwork along the recently renovated Batchen Lane, adjacent to the High Street shop.
