Inverness Courier – A DEAL key to the survival of Clachnacuddin FC is on the verge of collapse, The Inverness Courier has learned. The Highland Bangladeshi Association wants to purchase Clach’s social club so its 200 members can study the Koran and prayers. The plan is to lease the ground back to the football club on match days and the sale is required to enable Clach to leave administration. However, funding problems appear set to scupper the deal and administrator Gordon MacLure of Johnston Carmichael admitted yesterday there was a “realistic possibility” it will now not go through.
