19-year-old killed in Aberdeenshire crash named

STV – A 19-year-old woman who died after a crash in Aberdeenshire has been named. Grampian Police named the victim of the fatal road crash as 19-year-old Laura Thomas from Rosehearty in Fraserburgh. The accident happened on the A981 road between Memsie and Strichen, near Memsie, late on Saturday night. Miss Thomas was killed after she was driving a black Ford Ka, heading north. It was involved in the collision with a silver Renault Megane, heading the other way.
