Press and Journal – Political leaders, residents and landowners will meet next month to explain how they intend to tackle a flooding crisis affecting two Moray communities. Homes and businesses at Garmouth were flooded last autumn and winter when the banks of the River Spey burst, spewing water down the main street. A Moray Council report said six homes, two public halls and the Garmouth and Kingston Golf Course clubhouse, were affected. One resident said his home had been damaged eight times in eight months.
