Press and Journal – Northern Ireland under-21 captain Jonathan Flynn aims to kick-start his career at Ross County after signing a deal with the Dingwall club until the end of the season. The 20-year-old central defender will not feature at Queen of the South today but after two-and-a-half years on the sidelines at Blackburn Rovers he is eager to start playing regular first-team football. Flynn failed to make a senior appearance for the Lancashire club and after loan spells at Chester City and Accrington Stanley is keen to become a permanent fixture in County’s starting 11.
