Are you the face of Inverness Gigs?
A new, Highland-based website that features news, comment and reviews of the music scene in the north is looking for a face to to fit the bill… and it could be yours.
Inverness Gigs (http://www.invernessgigs.co.uk) is a website which offers readers up to date news on the music scene in Inverness and surrounding areas.
Founded a year ago by city man Chris Lemon, Inverness Gigs has teamed up with local photography firm McIntosh Photography to launch the contest to find the face that fits.
Chris said: “Inverness Gigs is fast becoming the one of the most visited sites in the Highlands covering live music news.
“As part of the ongoing expansion of our activities, we are looking for someone to be part of the range of images that Inverness Gigs will use in our future promotional material.
“Inverness Gigs is looking for the someone unique and with genuine character and personality to represent our unique website ethos and be the ‘Face of Inverness Gigs’.
He added: “The ideal person, male or female, will be someone who is a music fan and will be able to visually represent the music scene of Inverness.”
Anyone wishing to enter should email their photo and contact number, address and email address to admin@invernessgigs.co.uk. Entrants should be 18 years of age or older and be able to evidence this if required. The competition will be judged by representatives of McIntosh photography and Inverness Gigs.
The winner will take part in a photoshoot in Inverness and will feature in some of the promotional material for Inverness Gigs. In addition, the winner will receive a personalised portfolio with prints of their images to the value of £100 courtesy of McIntosh Photography.
The closing date for entrants is the 1st September 2010.
