Ross pubs in booze battle with store giant

North Star – ROSS publicans have launched a challenge against the selling of booze at rock bottom prices by a local supermarket. The local branch of the Scottish Licensed Trade Association – led by a former senior cop – has called for a review of Tesco’s Dingwall liquor licence, claiming it has breached conditions banning irresponsible drinks’ promotions at its Mart Road store.
