North Star – A FATHER and son appeared in the dock together at Dingwall Sheriff Court on an assault charge. Danny MacKenzie (18), of Sellar Place, Conon Bridge, and Kennor MacKenzie (45), of Seaforth Place, Maryburgh, admitted assaulting David Underwood outside the Riverside Tavern, Conon Bridge, on October 2, last year, by knocking him to the ground and punching and kicking him. The court heard how a number of people, including the MacKenzies, had been drinking in the bar and when they left at closing time a melee occurred outside and they became involved.
